That’s why we’re introducing Community Highlights Emails – to help Mobilize users focus on what matters.
At its core, Mobilize is an engagement engine – a system to meet users where they are, with the content they want, connections they cherish and the experience they appreciate.
Some organizations have community managers to ensure member engagement, in areas like welcoming new members, connecting them to similar members, hosting events, posting content and ensuring the community is thriving.
But many of our customers do not have a dedicated community manager, and still achieve 3X the engagement of the industry average. Community Highlight Emails is a testament to why that is: our singular focus on finding ways to keep members interested and involved.
Customers have been telling us (sometimes loudly) that members want to fine tune their notifications for only the most relevant content. “Stop sending so many emails” is the essence of that feedback.
We have been listening.
Community Highlights Emails are the latest extension of Mobilize’s engagement engine. For years we’ve been meeting members where they are: our mobile app, the web and email.
Community Highlights takes this further by sending members the most important, personalized news & content for AND lets them interact with it from their email inbox.
Here are the components of this new system:
Members first see a custom introduction from their Community owner (if they have set one). This powerful new feature means that every week, Community owners can curate this space to highlight new members and sponsors, or announce important topics. The new editor is designed to make your introduction look great.
Each member can now see their upcoming public and private event invitations, and RSVP right from the email.
Already RSVP’d Yes to an event? We show that. Did you RSVP No for an event? We don’t show that event. This boosts attendance by reminding users of events, even if they haven’t RSVP’d.
Personalized Organization Statistics
Members now see a bird’s eye view of their Top Five Most Active Groups, including new members and activities. And each of the Top Five groups includes a deep link to make it easy for members to jump into and participate.
Recent Posts & Activities
Each member receives the most relevant posts from each group, including Posts, Polls & Opportunities, and takes into account comments, comment replies & appreciations.
Group managers & owners can influence relevance by pinning or highlighting posts across the community.
Managers and owners also have the ability to block posts from showing up in Highlight emails in order to moderate content appropriately.
Customers who signed up for custom branding also get a custom email footer for permanent links, disclaimers, sponsorships and other business specific content.
