Announcing Mobilize Mobile, Enabling Large Group Communication on The Go

The world is more connected today than it has ever been before. Traditional email changed the way we communicate personally and professionally. Facebook allows us stay in touch with friends around the the world. Twitter instantly spreads the word about breaking news, and Slack enables internal communication for businesses. But what about those who want to create global movements and leverage large networks of people?

Technology has worked to keep us connected, but it has failed to empower people to collaborate in large groups. To solve this problem, we’re excited to announce that we’ve launched a new Mobilize app—allowing group leaders to communicate effectively with hundreds and thousands of people directly from their phones.

How Mobilize is Solving Large Group Messaging

Unfortunately, groups struggle to stay organized and communicate efficiently once they reach a certain size. Have you ever started a group before and felt the pain of managing 15 to 20 people on an email chain? It’s not fun. Imagine multiplying that by 100, and needing to stay organized and professional.

How exactly does Mobilize solve this problem? Let us share an example.

Meet Anna, she works at “TechBrain”, a Fortune 500 company selling specialized design software. She runs a globally-dispersed partner program, managing the company’s networks of partners, speakers, ambassadors, and resellers. While the people within these networks aren’t TechBrain employees or customers, they’re invaluable to the company’s success. In total, there are 6,000 people in these groups in 10 different countries.

To communicate on the go, Anna sends group messages to hundreds of her volunteers right from her phone. She can easily send SMS messages, create email campaigns, and individual messages to avoid spamming the whole network.

When Anna is at a conference and meets someone who is interested in joining her organization, she can simply add their information to the app on her phone. A new member doesn’t have to log in to receive messages and instantly becomes part of the community. We call this frictionless onboarding.

When Anna hosts a meetup, she never has to worry about who is attending. Our built-in analytics allows group leaders to see who has read their message.

Group leaders and members can see who is attending event from their phone. Invites always automatically sync to a member’s calendar, too.

Using Mobilize, Anna has been able to organize thousands of people on the world, and communicate with each member authentically.
